For the choir, Carl Orff is known to have built into his legendary work a whole series of „vocal-musical hurdles“ that have to be jumped. Pour le chœur, Carl Orff a, comme on le sait, intégré dans son œuvre légendaire toute une série „d’obstacles vocaux et musicaux“ qu’il faut franchir. Des registres „aigus“ prolongés dans les sopranos et les ténors, des complications rythmiques délicates, de nombreuses divisions vocales (jusqu’à huit voix), des chœurs d’hommes exigeants, des tempos rapides, de nombreux changements de tempo, beaucoup de texte pour le chœur et bien d’autres choses encore. Per il coro, Carl Orff ha notoriamente incluso nella sua leggendaria opera tutta una serie di „ostacoli vocali-musicali“ da superare. Registri „acuti“ lunghi e sostenuti nei soprani e nei tenori, complicazioni ritmiche complicate, molte divisioni vocali (fino a otto voci), cori maschili esigenti, tempi veloci, molti cambi di tempo, molto testo per il coro e molto altro ancora. Ma anche le parti solistiche sono „al limite del possibile“.
